Nesbitt School is one of the largest elementary schools in the English Montreal School Board. It is one of the few elementary schools east of St. Laurent Blvd. that offers a full French immersion program; therefore, serving a large geographic area. Nesbitt also offers a regular English program, serving a somewhat smaller surrounding area of Rosemount. In addition to the regular teaching staff, Nesbitt has several specialists including Physical Education, Computers, Music and French Second Language teachers. Nesbitt also provides resource services to students who require additional help in English, as well as in the first cycle of French. Nesbitt School has a large computerized library, housing over 15,000 books. Two fully equipped computer labs, with internet access throughout the school. As well as two gymnasiums, for a thriving physical education program promoting fitness, participation and sportsmanship.
