September has been a busy and fun month. The kids are settled in and learning class routines and rules, way to go boys and girls!
The fun day on the 5th organized by P.P.O. was a success. The kids enjoyed themselves outside on the inflatables and had a yummy treat to snow cones and hot dogs.
The Me Bag projects were a success! The kids were creative and brought in great items that represented themselves.
Curriculum night went well, thank you to all the parents that were able to come. If you weren’t able to make it for one reason or another, you can see the power point I showed on my website under the parent section if you would like.
School photos were taken on the 23rd.
The students were given their first math test on chapter 1 (Patterns); we are now onto chapter 2 (Numeration). The Nelson math website is a great resource for the kids to get extra practice on. I also registered the class on Reflex math and will put their passwords in their agendas. This site works on basic facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). We will work on this in school, but I encourage you to allow them to go on this site at home as well.
