SCHOOL AND LUNCH SUPERVISION FEES
A gentle reminder to all parents …
School fees for consumable materials were due on September 12th. The first payment for lunch supervision was due on September 26th while the second installment for lunch is due on November 14th. If you have not already done so, kindly make your payments by the end of this month.

REPORT CARDS
Students will be bringing their report cards home on Wednesday, November 19th. Parents will be invited to attend a parent/teacher conference on Thursday, November 20th from 8:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m. by appointment only. Conferences will last about 15 minutes in order to accommodate all the parents. If you wish to have a longer meeting with the teachers, please request it in writing. However, it will have to be held at another time before or after school. Please note that no interviews will take place between 5:30-6:30 p.m., as the staff will break for supper. The school’s main office will also remain closed during that hour.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
On November 19th and 20th, Nesbitt’s Home and School Association will be hosting the Annual Scholastic Book Fair. Scholastic offers books at very reasonable prices. We encourage you to purchase books for your children because reading is key to a successful education. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Home and School for organizing this event for our children. Their time and dedication are greatly appreciated!

MORNING AND AFTERNOON  STUDENT DROP OFF
Kindly use the 15 minute drop off zone on Bellechasse Street when dropping off your children in the morning and picking them up after school. For your children’s safety, please do not park on Rosemount Avenue, as it is extremely congested and overcrowded with heavy traffic. Students will not be permitted to enter the schoolyard from the Rosemount gate. I am counting on your cooperation in order to ensure our children’s security and wellbeing.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The “Club Des Petits Dejeuners” is still seeking volunteers to assist with the breakfast program. Without the help of volunteers, there is a risk that the Club will cease to exist. I am counting on your help and your precious gift of time. Your assistance will make all the difference in the lives of our young students.

Respectfully,
Elena Zervas
Principal
