You are cordially invited to attend Nesbitt School’s Curriculum Night on September 24th, 2015 from 6:30-8:30.
Curriculum Night is an opportunity to meet your child(ren)’s teacher(s) and learn about the curriculum targets for the 2015-2016 school year. Our teachers will be sharing exciting information about class/cycle projects as well as discussing many other items pertaining to assessment and your child(ren)’s academic experience for this year.
The meeting will begin with a principal’s address at 6:30 pm sharp in the school gymnasium. Following my address, I will invite both our Governing Board Chairperson and Home & School Association President to speak about their roles within our school community. I will also take a moment to introduce all our staff members to the parent community of Nesbitt School.
After our general meeting in the gymnasium, you will be invited to meet your child(ren)’s teacher. A schedule of meeting times and location will be made available that evening. Our school specialists (resource teachers, physical education teachers, music teachers, etc…) will be available to meet with you at a designated area outside of the school gymnasium.
Please be advised that the purpose of this evening is not to discuss your individual child(ren) but to receive an overview of the curriculum targets for the school year. We discourage parents from bringing their children to the meeting due to limited space in both the school gymnasium and the classrooms. Also, the parking lot is reserved for our school staff. Please use the street parking available around the school.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you on September 24th, 2015.
Mrs. Antoinette Scrocca
